Wanted! Another One or Two People to Contribute to This Site
Do you use many of the items on this site? Do you want to help to make it even better. I started this site to help teachers in my district communicate more effectively. Now that we have become a nationally recognized site, I am looking to expand and get perspectives from outside my district. If you are interested, please e-mail me at kenhalla@hotmail.com.

Study Stack
So first off, some of my tech ideas come from this site which is amazing an just won an Edublog award this year. The "study stack" site has allows you to help your students prepare. I have struggled with study guides for years and think this may be better than what I have done in the past. I am going to have my students create their own accounts and define each of their own words and then use it to review (or make them do part of the review guide) and then do a partner's review. The cool thing is that it allows the students to input the data and then see it in a variety of forms such as flash cards, crossword puzzles, true false, etc. Here is the world history page.

Quizzes
This site allows you to give your students quizzes on various world history (and US) topics. It doesn't break them down by traditional units, but it is fairly easy to navigate and does include a search engine.

Sharing Power Points
This is a very cool site. First off, go there and type in some world history topic you are interested in having a Power Point for showing your students. Above is one from the Renaissance. But also when you type it in, you will get other related ones. You can also create movies of your Power Points. This is teacher sharing at its best.

Document Based Question Database
This is 2.0 education. Go here to get some DBQ questions and if you want, add your own. This is being run by AP World teachers, but I've had my regular students do one as well.
