Harbhajan Singh Yogi brought his his Kundalini Yoga, which focuses on 3HO (Happy, Healthy, Holy) Organization to the USA back in the 1960s and attracted a number 0f white converts during the cross cultural 60s. It's actually quite rare to see Punjabi Sikh women wear a turban but almost all white Sikh women wear it.
