Educational Resources in Asian Art

Asia for Educators, a site developed by Columbia University, also has a terrific site that compiles museum educational resources in Asian Art called OMuERAA.

Click on one of the religions in the block called "Religions in Asia through Art, and you'll land on a page with teaching resources from different museums. I clicked on Daoism and found 12  museums with resources. The Cleveland Museum of Art has a series of images of the Daoist immortals and the Asian Art Museum of San Franciso has a teaching packet called "Taoism and the Arts of China,"  It includes background essays, images, and student handouts.

The block with featured topics includes one from the Chinese Historical Society called "Exclusion/Inclusion" and includes a teaching packet with engaging essays and images.

You can also search for resources by region or country
